Our Minister

On May 26, 2014, Shawn Douglas Slone became the fourth minister in the 50 year history of the congregagtion. Shawn is married to his wife of 20 years Heather Dawn Slone and they have one son, Shane Michael Douglas Slone. The Slone family is from the neighboring county of Pike. Shawn has been preaching for nine years and has preached in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Florida. His has received training at the East Tn. School of Preaching and Missions and continues to pursue a Bachelor in Biblical Studies from Sunset International Bible Institute.
